Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This site is operated by HiveView LLC ("HiveView," "we," "us"), a Delaware limited liability company providing drone-based exterior cleaning in Delaware and nearby areas. Contact: thehiveview@gmail.com, Wilmington, DE.
2. Information we collect
We collect what you submit through our quote form: your name, phone number, email address, property address, property type, the surfaces you want cleaned, approximate height/stories, and any notes you choose to add. The notes field is optional - please don't include sensitive details such as gate or alarm codes.
When you submit the form we also automatically receive your IP address, which we use only for spam/abuse prevention and rate limiting. It is retained with your request for up to 30 days and is not used to track you or for advertising.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels. Our public marketing pages set no cookies. Our client portal (the per-client quote microsite) sets one strictly-necessary cookie when you sign in: a first-party session cookie (__Host-hv_sess) that simply keeps you logged in. It is essential to the service, is never used for tracking or advertising, and is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Strict. Because it is strictly necessary, no cookie-consent banner is required.
3. How we use your information
Solely to prepare and send your free estimate, and to contact you about your request. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
4. Service providers we use
- Cloudflare, Inc. - hosts this site (Cloudflare Pages). On our public marketing quote form we use Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection, which processes your IP address to tell humans from bots. Our client portal instead verifies you with an emailed one-time code (no Turnstile), and rate-limits requests using your IP address.
- Google LLC - your quote submission is delivered to and stored in our business email inbox (Gmail). Google processes it as our email provider.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (storage) - on this public site, your quote request is held briefly as an operational backstop in Cloudflare Workers KV (in the United States) so a temporary email outage cannot lose it, and we use the same KV store for transient anti-abuse counters (rate limits, one-time de-duplication). Our separate client portal, if you are invited to one, stores your request and sign-in email in Cloudflare's D1 database (in the United States). This data is retained and deleted per Section 6.
Web fonts are self-hosted, so loading our pages does not send your data to any font CDN.
5. Communications & your consent
By submitting the quote form you agree that HiveView may contact you about your request by phone, text, or email. Message and data rates may apply, and consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt out at any time - reply STOP to texts or email us at thehiveview@gmail.com. If we ever send promotional messages, each one will include a clear way to unsubscribe.
6. Data retention
The operational copy of your quote request in our Cloudflare KV backstop (see Section 4) is automatically discarded within about 30 days, as is the short-lived technical data used for spam prevention and rate-limiting (see Section 2). After that, the lasting record of your request is the email in our Gmail business inbox, which we keep only as long as we reasonably need it to respond to you and for our ordinary business records. If you are a client of our separate client portal, a request stored in that portal's database is deleted after up to 24 months. In our internal Command Center records (Section 7), lead and contact records are kept up to 24 months, security audit records up to 24 months, and any call transcripts up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing thehiveview@gmail.com, and we will delete it.
7. Signing in, requesting access, and our lead records
We operate a private Command Center at login.thehiveview.com for our own team and for invited clients. If you sign in, we send a one-time 6-digit code to your email to confirm it's you; team sign-in also requires a password. We store your sign-in email, the essential session cookie described in Section 2, and a short technical audit record (including a one-way hashed form of your IP address, never the raw IP) so we can keep the account secure.
If you use the "Request access" form, we store the name, email, company, and message you provide so we can decide on and follow up about access. We do not create an account automatically; a person reviews each request.
To run our business we keep our lead and contact records in one internal system (a customer-records database). A "lead" may come from the quote form, a client microsite, an access request, a phone call, or a list we are permitted to contact, and each is stored as a single record we use only to respond to you and manage our work. We do not sell or rent these records. If we ever place an outbound marketing call or email, we honor opt-outs and applicable law (see Section 5).
If and when our AI phone line is enabled, calls to it may be recorded and transcribed so we can capture your request accurately; we keep the transcript and summary, not the audio, and we will disclose recording on the call. We do not enable that line until the required consent notice is in place.
8. Your rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing thehiveview@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, your state's privacy laws (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act) may give you additional rights - email us and we will honor any that apply to you.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Security
Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and protected by bot screening and rate limiting. We do not collect payment card information through this site. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
11. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
